Currently I am flying for a Part 135 On-Demand Cargo company called Flight Express, Inc. It’s an alright time the only problem with flying for them is the fact that I have to get up at 3:45 am, out the door at 4:30 am, and then get home around 7:00 pm. If you know how long of a day 13 to 14 hours is you understand completely. I get to work at 05:00 and don’t get off until 18:15 if I am lucky, otherwise I am working until 19:00 or later and have to check into work late the next day. Right now I am flying to Memphis everyday and sit and wait until 16:30-16:50 to load more cargo and head home. So for a recap, I fly 2.5 to 3.0 hours per day, sit in Memphis, TN for almost 10 hours, and get to spend only four hours with my significant other (wife) at night.
